IT and the Economy

My husband, Joe and I attended a great presentation this week. It was down in Tampa, put on by the Tampa Bay Tech Forum and presented by IBM. The topic was What is the Road to Economic Recovery? I've never been one to pay attention to financial details of our government but as I've gotten older and now own a business, I listen. The speaker, Philip Swan, IBM's Cheif Economist gave a good layman's description of what has happened to our economy and where he feels it's headed. It was not only good to hear that we will recover but that IT companies are on the leading edge of that recovery. Companies are lean and mean now and need to do more with less. Technology enables companies to do that. Companies like mine also allow businesses to have the advantage of IT expertise without the overhead of payroll and benefits. I'd like people to know that I'm in the right spot and able to assist them.
